Education, Learning & Skills Support
Information & Guidance Hub
Education, Learning & Skills Guidance provides friendly,
balanced, and compassionate
information to help children, young people, parents, carers, students, educators, and families better
understand education
systems, school life, SEND support, educational rights, attendance, safeguarding, mental health, further education, higher education,
apprenticeships, careers, lifelong learning, and the services available to
support learning and development throughout life.
Our aim is to make information easier to understand, helping people feel more informed, supported, and better prepared to navigate
education pathways, school
concerns, additional needs, examinations,
transitions, educational challenges, funding opportunities, and the
services that support learning and achievement. We encourage
inclusion, accessibility, positive communication, informed
decision-making, equal
opportunities, and supportive
learning environments for all
children, young people, and adults.
The information on this website is provided as general guidance and signposting only. Education, Learning & Skills Guidance is not a school, college, university, legal
service, advocacy organisation, educational
psychologist service, or regulated advice provider. We do not make educational decisions, determine school placements, provide legal representation, guarantee
admissions, or make decisions
regarding Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), exclusions, funding, or educational
entitlements. If you
require specialist educational
advice, legal advice, advocacy
support, or professional
assessment, you should
contact an appropriate education professional, local authority, school, college, university, legal adviser, or specialist support organisation.
The wellbeing, safety, development, inclusion, educational opportunities, rights, and future potential of
children, young people, students, families, carers, and adult learners remain at the heart of everything we promote.
Learning Matters
Education helps build confidence, independence, life skills,
opportunities, and brighter futures.
